Global Philanthropy Forum panel on “Restoring Dignity: The Case of the Rohingya”

Redwood City, California. – On 2-4 May, more than 200 humanitarian leaders gathered at the 2018 Global Philanthropy Forum. BRAC’s executive director, Dr Muhammad Musa attended the forum as a panelist on a session titled ‘Restoring Dignity: The Case of the Rohingya’ where he emphasised the need to address the Rohingya issue with urgency and respect.

Iian Levine, programme director of Human Rights Watch moderated the session. Along with Dr Musa, Aerlyn Pfeil, board member of Médecins sans Frontières and Nirmala Rao, vice-chancellor of Asian University for Women urged in unison that the world needs to act together and stand by the Rohingyas.
