Monsoon hits Cox’s Bazar, the world’s biggest makeshift city

Monsoon season has hit Cox’s Bazar – the world’s biggest makeshift city, and one of the most flood-prone regions in Bangladesh. Thousands of families are at risk of disease outbreaks, floods, and landslides over the next three months. We are working round the clock relocating them to safer areas, and repairing and building disaster-resilient shelters, recruiting volunteers and stocking up on supplies.
